In this novella told from six perspectives, I follow Eve from the dining car of the Golden State Limited in September 1938 to the elegant rooms of the Beverly Hills Hotel, the fabled tables of Antonio’s, the amusement parks on the Santa Monica piers, the afro-Cuban dance clubs off Central Avenue, and ultimately the set of Gone with the Wind.

In early 2021, the audio book platform Audible released a longish short story of mine called The Didomenico Fragment which is perfectly narrated by the great John Lithgow. Clients of Audible can access the story here for free.

The first author I read systematically as a young teenager was the great American science fiction writer, Ray Bradbury, so I immediately said yes. While my story -- You Have Arrived at Your Destination -- is set in the future, it is set about five minutes in the future...
